The IOM Ultra is a power amplifier created specifically for the WiiM Ultra streamer. Designed as a dedicated companion, it forms a seamless and perfectly balanced system — technically, visually, and functionally.
Unlike the more universal IOM Brick Stereo 250, the IOM Ultra is intentionally focused. It is engineered to integrate directly with the WiiM Ultra, using trigger-based power control for synchronized operation. When your streamer powers on, the amplifier follows automatically — creating a clean, elegant, single-system experience.
By omitting a front-panel power button, the IOM Ultra maintains a minimal, uninterrupted design that mirrors the simplicity of the WiiM concept. It is built around system integration rather than standalone operation.
Internally, the IOM Ultra is designed with the same commitment to signal integrity and performance that defines all IOM amplifiers. The carefully managed signal path ensures low noise and high transparency, allowing the character of the WiiM Ultra to fully unfold without limitation.
Its aluminium chassis is precision-machined for structural integrity and effective fan-less cooling, ensuring stable performance without mechanical noise.

Choose the IOM Brick Stereo 250 if you prefer a more universal amplifier with broader compatibility, standard dual input options, and a dedicated front-panel power button for independent operation.
The IOM Ultra is available in two power versions: 125W stereo and 250W stereo. Detailed specifications of the applied amplifier modules can be found in the Additional Information tab.
Both power and color versions are available with RCA inputs only, or with combined RCA and XLR inputs. The latter version is fitted with high-quality binding posts.

Hi,
I was the first buyer in Hungary and I must say this purchase is worth every EURO Cent. Fits fantastic with the WIIM Ultra in design and size. The sound is really powerful, crisp and lots of deep bass there. Transparent sound, wide stage and every instruments are well separated and sound natural. Vocals are realistic and crystal clear. Even after a long period of operation the unit is lukewarm, no heat problems at all. The amp is dead silent, no interference or noise at all. I use it with a Taga external power supply with filters and protection, and an Audioquest power cable. Although the WIIM Vibe amp is cheaper, but doesn’t match in colour or design, and the power output is less. I drive vintage power-hungry Pioneer HPM-100’s and also a pair of Dynaudio MSP-110’s (separated with A/B speaker switch depending on the genre of music I listen to), and they really need the beefy output of the IOM Ultra. So absolutely no plans to swap, I think it is a must for all WIIM Ultra owners, you won’t regret it! Happy listening! Best regards from Budapest. Peter

Ultra WiiM Power Amplifier Well, I am glad I did the research beforehand on purchasing this item that listens to music in many ways, like listening to Jean Micheal Jarren and Oxygen. It is very in-depth to listen to the album that is very pleasing.
What can we improve on going forward? We need to look at the amplifier to have power on the front instead of the back, and some instructions would be good going forward.
Other options for additional equipment are to be adding to amp going forward, but overall, a job well done that I appreciate all the help on this purchasing and good luck going forward as I think you bloody crack job it on this design so far.
